11-Mark: Brilliant Leadership

Dec 15, 2024    Pastor Christopher Thompson

We ended this past week with the Pharisees, having had enough of Jesus and His meddling in their view of the law and His boldly declaring His views to the masses, so much so that they entered into an alliance with the Herodians,, a group who had vastly different political views from them (as they were supporters of Roman rule led locally by the Herod’s). Still, both groups shared a common view that Jesus needed to be removed from this life.

Now, family, there will come a time for Jesus to give His life, but this is not that time. It is critical to observe that Jesus was in command and control of every situation in which He found Himself. Everything He did was purposeful and strategic. With that in mind, we continue in Mark 3:7 and see “Brilliant Leadership.”
