46-Mark: “I Am He” -Sermon
In Mark 14:43–65, we witness the arrest and trial of Jesus—the moment darkness attempts to silence the truth.
Darkness tries to overtake the Light—but it cannot.
A mob armed with swords and clubs descends on Jesus under cover of night. Judas betrays Him with a kiss. Peter lashes out in panic. False witnesses can’t make their lies agree. And an illegal midnight trial unfolds in direct violation of the leaders’ own laws.
Yet through every moment, Jesus stands sovereign.
He is not a victim overpowered.
He is the “I AM” who speaks—and armed men fall backward.
He is the Shepherd who willingly allows Himself to be struck.
He is the Christ who declares the truth even when it seals His sentence.
This message walks through the betrayal, arrest, false testimony, and condemnation of Jesus—and shows why every moment fulfills Scripture and displays the unstoppable glory of the Son of God.
If you’re searching for truth, hope, or clarity about who Jesus really is, this message is for you.
