Sonrise Baptist Church takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information our website and mobile app collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have.

What we collect
We collect a small amount of information needed to make the app and website work and to improve them over time.
Anonymous device identifiers. When you install our app, we register a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token so we can deliver push notifications. This token is unique to your installed app but is not tied to your name, email, or any account.
Anonymous usage analytics. Our website and app use Google Analytics 4 to count things like which pages are visited and which features are used. We do not see who you are individually.
Diagnostic data. Crash reports and basic performance data are collected automatically through Firebase to help us fix bugs and improve reliability.
We do not knowingly collect personal information like your name, email, phone number, or address through the app itself. If you choose to give online, sign up for a small group, or submit a contact form, that information is handled by Planning Center (Church Center), which has its own privacy policy at planningcenter.com/privacy.
How we use the data
- Deliver push notifications when something is happening at the church
- See how the app and website are being used so we can improve them
- Fix bugs and reliability issues
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties for any purpose other than the services listed below.
Third parties
The Sonrise App and website rely on the following third-party services:
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for push notifications
- Google (Google Analytics 4) for usage analytics
- Planning Center (Church Center) for giving, forms, and event registration
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store for app distribution
Each of these services has its own privacy practices. Their policies apply to data they collect directly.
Children
Our app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can disable push notifications at any time in your iPhone’s Settings, under Notifications, Sonrise Baptist Church. You can clear app data by deleting and reinstalling the app.
