What is AWANA Youth at Sonrise?

AWANA Youth includes Trek (for middle school students) and Journey (for high school students). Trek meets Tuesday nights; Journey meets Sunday mornings for Bible study and discussion.

When does AWANA Youth meet?

Trek meets Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM during the school year. Journey, for high school students, meets Sunday mornings at 11:30 AM.

How is AWANA Youth different from AWANA Kids?

The core Bible-memory and discipleship structure is the same, but Trek and Journey are designed for junior high and high school students with age-appropriate teaching, conversation, and activities.

Junior High

Tuesdays @ 6:30 PM

Trek challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they're asking: Who am I? Why am I here? Who's with me?

High School

Sundays @ 11:30 AM

Journey establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through deep study of God's Word, mobilizing them to live with spiritual conviction as they build a lasting faith.
