Question: Did you know that you are a much more complex creation than the phone you used to scan the QR code?

Seriously! One cell in your body is more complex than the phone you are holding, and you are made up of trillions of cells all working together to make you. And like your cellphone, you have a Creator, but like all humans, you have a problem.

A Truth about Humanity

"23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23
  • Definition of sin: Anything we think, say, or do that displeases God, our Creator.
  • This means that in the sight of God, our Creator, we are defective and not worthy of His presence. My guess is that if your cellphone were hopelessly broken, you'd probably replace it, toss it, or recycle it. But our Creator is all about fixing things; this includes us.

You're saying there's a chance?

"23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. " -Romans 6:23
  • If you've ever had to fix a cellphone, you know that the bill can get quite expensive. Unfortunately, the repair bill brought about by our sin is too great for anyone to pay, but Jesus has the will and ability to pay the debt we owe to repair our broken relationship with our Creator.

What we must do.

... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. " -Romans 10:9-10
  • The restoration, or fixing, of our relationship with our Creator by the gift of grace/salvation is accessible to us due to what Jesus accomplished on the cross and by rising from the grave. But we must respond. We are broken from birth and become increasingly broken as we live, but Jesus will not force a repair (relationship) on anyone; He desires that we choose Him. If you want to be in right relationship with your Creator, Jesus, you can do so right now. Confess now that you are broken; you have missed God's best for you. Put your faith, hope, and trust in Jesus, whom the Father raised from the dead. Receive today the gift of God's grace purchased through the sacrifice of Jesus.

What's next.

"24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.  -Hebrews 10:24-25
