14-Colossians: One Life, World Change
It is all too easy for us to look at the past and judge them for not being where we are today when the truth is we stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us.
As part of this, we judge God for His apparent slowness. Why did God take so long to send the Savior? Why is God taking so long to return and make all things new as He promised?
The reality, however, is that our God is not slack; he does not stop working in and through us, and He does things precisely as He intends to, as is consistent with His character.
Just as He conforms each believer into the image of the Son through the work of the Holy Spirit, so He is ever at work in the world.
Today, we get to see how God, working through the Apostle Paul in one man's life and conforming him into the image of the Son, will seed a new way of thinking that will change the world.
