32-"One Thing Money Can't Buy"
In this sermon on Mark 10:13–22, Pastor Chris explores two striking Kingdom moments:
First, Jesus rebukes His disciples for turning away children—instead of treating them as second-class citizens, He compares them to worthy heirs of the Kingdom. He emphatically declares, “whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Then, Jesus meets a wealthy young ruler who approaches Him in genuine faith—but can’t surrender his riches. Jesus answers plainly: true treasure is found not in wealth, but in obedience and total surrender.
Join us as we wrestle with:
- How cultural assumptions blinded the disciples to the true value of children
- Why spiritual greatness in the Kingdom looks like humility and childlike dependence
- What Jesus really requires when He says, “Sell all…and follow Me.”
